HD Suspension Advice

Post by Ronan »

Hey guys - First off - Hi, this is my first post. Texting from Canada. Looking for some advice on some suspension mods for my 2000 D2. I am currently running OME HD springs and OME shocks. On last year's expedition, I had a lot of probs with the rear end bottoming out on bumps and the shocks overextending. My truck runs heavy. I have an ARB front bumper with Warn XD9000 and a full rack carrying a Hannibal and 3 fuel cans.

I am looking to improve the suspension but want the truck to end up sitting as level as possible. Before adding spacers would like to see what any of you would recommend for a set up to improve what I already have?

Cheers from Sunny Calgary,

Jason

Hi Ronan,

Have a look at this:

http://www.truckspring.com/firestone-co ... -4121.html

Lot of people using (very) similar in Oz. Lets you adjust ride height to suit when loaded up without sacrificing comfort the rest of the time. Costs about $350 here. I'd be buying the above.

Got 'Live at Massey Hall' yet?

cheers, DL
