3" or 4" s/s snorkel

Post by GQ Bear »

I want people's opinions and a couple of pics of each. I'm putting a s/s snorkel on my GQ and was wondering whether to go 3" or 4".

3" is all that's required as it runs std airbox with 3" inlet and 3" outlet to 3" throttle body. I have plans to put a turbo on in the future and that's where the 4" may be beneficial.

Should i run 3" and change to 4" later with turbo or just go 4" now?

It's really just a bling thing as my current snorkel works fine. Can anyone supply pics of each? I'm thinking 4" may look a little over the top hanging off the side of a GQ

Thanks

na 4" looks the best on GQ's 3" looks too small compared to the size of the body, put 3" ones on bundy's, zooks, lux's, etc etc.

There were some pics on here in the stainless snorkel threads that may be useful.

I have 3" on my Rocky and it doesn't look out of place at all.
With the GQ being a lot bigger, 4" would suit it I think. 3.5" minimum.

bigger the better, go the 4".
especially if your going to be upgrading later. its not going to hurt to have more airflow into the engine
