You guys must be joking, if the rest of the car is put together as badly as that rear speaker box, it will be a piece of tarted up crap that is stuck together so it looks good for a short time then falls to bits.

Buyer Beware!

some of these guys must be joking.
especially one that looks as crappy. these guys are dreamers, it looks as if they add up every thing the car ever cost them including rego and petrol, and then make that the buy it now. If they made it 6 or 7g then they might have a chance. the black one wont get more then $3500 in the general auction. im guessing it will go for $2500 the green one wont meet the reserve (whatever it is) he would be better off selling the wheels seperate and not asking such a ridiculous price for it.

LOL... better off buying a cheap zuk (using it offroad), and saving the money for another 'bling' car... or keep the mags, etc for the wifes car!

What do you reckon about this one on EBAY?

Looks like it has had a ding on the corner of the RHS front panel, but should be easy enough to bash out/fix up.

I have made them an offer, and am waiting to hear back.

you'd better tell the bloke who's bid 1800 that you're buying it for less... have you put a deposit down yet?

Yeah, the money has gone thru, and he has accepted -
There was 'no bids' when he had already accepted my offer.

so its up to the them to tell the bidder and update their EBAY.

LOL it was only 100 bucks more... so i dont think he will be worried too much...

But it is interesting what cars are worth indifferent states - in WA for some reason zooks are more wanted = more expensive? Has anyone else found that?

Yeah, he must have been a bit snakey - he just asked me for another 100 bux for towing to the depot...

I told him that that is a bit shady, as we had already agreed on a price.

Lets hope when it gets here he hasnt kicked the doors in...

No, he seemed ok on the phone - even made a little joke about it.

I have had it checked out already by SGIO for mechanical, safety, etc - but thanks for the offer. Shouldnt have any drama's getting it WA lic.

Just waiting for it to get here will be the worst of it... already thinking about mods!

p.s. I was joking about 'kicking the doors in'...

Cost so far:

- 1700 car
- 1100 shipping (via Toll)
- 150 for SGIO check

Total: $2950...

Car details:
'93 softop
153,000 kms
stocka-rocka (ready for mods)

So, with a run over the pits in WA (after i have done a once over and fixed any minor things) it should be about $3200 total for a nice clean DD...

still under budget, and lots better than the sh*t boxes i have seen in WA for uder 3000...

how long does it usually take for them to get it over there?
might have been cheaper to fly over and drive it back? unless you dont have the spare time with work or something

LOL yeah, a trip over the nullabor in the Zuk... Dont really know if my back would be up for it!

And i dont have time off work - but yeah, probably cheaper to fly over and pick it up.

Around 7 days delivery (approx). I have done the drive from Syd to canberra in 3 days. But that was 2 drivers, and in a wagon (one of you could sprawl out and try to sleep).

No luxuries like that in the Zuk!
