SO give to you nice flex .. but it's also a soft springs convination ..

Fact, flat springs give more flex than arched ones .. so if your idea it's run 35" ( example ) in your 75" SU require arched springs .. less flex .. but the same 35" with SO and flat springs give much better flex and ride ..

Obviusly rised CG also ..

As you see pros and cons ..

i have done a spring over on my 73 series and i will admit that it is a bit more rolly on the road but you just have to make yourself aware of the change in handling and adjust your driving to suit....But in saying that the difference off road is amazing....I am getting huge flex out of it....the bloody thing ceases to amaze me with where it will go....so many people that see it can not belive the flex and travel i am getting out of a leaf sprung truck.
My cruiser might not be Pretty, it might not be Fast, but, IT'S BLOODY TOUGH!!!
