Petrol to Diesel

Hey guys,
Was curious as to how hard it is to do a swap from a petrol motor to a diesel. If i had the diesel what would be the definants to do!! Obviously fuel lines/tank, what else??
does anyone have an idea or had it done to knwo and approx cost of getting something,ike this done?

from what i hear, i lil bit of petrol in ya diesel wont hurt it, so ya may not need to worry bout ya tank and lines. just aslong as ya dont have a full tank...... :D

Yeah I am interested in this also. I want to get rid of my 350k TB42 and replace it with a TD42T. What is the work involved?

I know the alternator on a diesel is different.. why the fuel tank?? Isn't it the same 'fuel storage container' as petrol?

thats kinda my point, its one less thing he will have to worry about doing.


if your getting a complete engine, then the only things i can think of that need changing is wiring. like depending on the engine you may need a glowplug warning light etc
