Generally, yes.
I would recommend transfer case gears though to help prevent you hating the clutch too much.
Some people can break anything though. I have done some pretty hard trips in my 1.0 with a welded rear diff and 34" swampers and I am yet to break anything. It has always had gears though, so I haven't had to hate it.
In relation to the OME/shackle question, have you searched? Two weeks ago you were going to go into production with all singing all dancing suspension kits, allances with ARB etc and now you are asking this question????
As far as I can tell you have a car completed stripped down, no confirmation on engine, no confirmation of engineer approval of all the work you want to do and you are asking questions about springs and shocks that have been answered 1000 times.
Really, sorry for the flame, but it feels like there are about four different people using you username all with totally different capabilities and skill levels.
Talk to your engineer. I would cert the car with stock springs in it and a 2" BL, then you can run 31's easily and have all the mods on a cert. what you do afterwards with springs and shackles isn't important.
Remember though, that if you want to modify your shock mounts to run something longer (important if you want to run longer shackles) you should get that on the cert.

MInes holding up fine!
Got lock rites front and rear 2" lifted spreings and 2" extended shackles(Only gives you 1" lift!) and 31's!
If you dont have the coin only go to 30's before getting gears! Gears make a huge difference and i would never go 31's with out the gearing!
Should hold up fine!

I got 32's on stock 1.3 wide track gearing and its bad but its still driveable(no more need for 5th even on a hill)But it does sit on 110 still. My bro has 31's on a LWB 1litre 4speed and its still *just* drivable on the road just a tad slow It can be driven just not as willing. Just drive around town in low range with the hubs unlocked Safe? maybe not but hill starts are easierIf you dont have the coin only go to 30's before getting gears!
