Schwitzer 3LD

Post by GQboy »

I have a Schwitzer 3LD turbo here , brand new , and i was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some specs on it. I want to fit it to my TD42 patrol but before I do I want to know if it will run it ok. The other thing is that it does not have a waste gate, does it need one if so what size and what does it do if you dont run one? From my understanding and research it just limits the amount of boost your turbo will produce.

Ring denco in wagga, they will be able to tell you the specs. For accurate control of boost pressure some sort of wastegate is required. Boost pressure is what determines wastegate size, so sit down and make a plan.

Ball bearing turbo upgrades for factory turbo vehicles. Got a diesel question just ask.
Home of the twin turbo shorty and many 150rwkw+ patrols.
