Holden 253 spigot bush

Post by MYLUX »

Hey, I have a Holden 253 red motor, going into my hilux, the spigot bush that comes standard in the motor is too big for the hilux output shaft spigot, is there a bearing that will fit or do i have to machine a bronze bush to fit.

Thanks Matt

Maybe call castlemaine rod shop or make one out of phosfer Bronze ? the spelling on that another thing to try is get both the OD of the shaft and the ID of the crank and go and see what cbc have or can get.

any conversion place should have the adaptor washer that fits in the holden fly wheel, uses the standard hilux spigot bearing, just tap the spacer in to the flywheel and then fit the standard bearing, easy job.
gq wagon now a gq ute, straight gas tb42 with a thing on the side that makes it go fast
