who giving/getting good deals on adj panhards it seems you have to have them to run 3 inch lift in a gq wagon :?

also any good deals on steering dampers

I got my stock panhards modified for my 3" lift. However, I'd go adjustable if the price was good.

The thing is you don't need adjustable panhards, you just need longer panhards... but of course adjustable is the only option, so you adjust them once and then never again.

cheers guys pms have been received and i will be sorting something out very shortly if i new that i would fully need them on a 3inch i wouldve gone 4 staight up oh well not to worry ;)

I was advised by various ppl that you dont really need it for 3" but if you like to have the setup just right then adjustable are needed.

Im running approx 3" atm without and all is ok, but this setup is being removed when I get the time in favour of a full 3-4" setup including drop arms and adjustable panhards.

So true....

But I have a lawl occasionally when you read 4wd monthly and they say things like..." adjustable panhards were fitted to enable x to fine to the cars handling on really gnarly side slopes "

How does a panhard that is to short effect the handling of a patrol. how do you know when you need a longer panhard rod?

Think about how the panhard works on the housing -- one side is mounted to the chassis the other to the opposite side of the housing. As the car is lifted (Or suspension droops) the track gets pulled to one side of the body/chasis. You only begin to notice it when you install lifts overs around 3 inches imo.

How it would effect handling... ????

yeah i didnt think i would need them with a 3 inch but the diffs moved towards the drivers side that much that i only get walking wear on the passenger side :? and once i noticed that i had a good look at it and its out abit
