There is actually a better range of rims for D1's, as all RRC, series 1/2/3, county, defender rims fit. D2 steel rims are like rocking horse poo and the alloys are $$$ to buy. They use totally different hubs so wont fit without a lot of work.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

LoanRangie is correct, and you can get vented disk brakes to fit if you want to, eg., get some Defender calipers or Rangie Classics

you can also get hub adaptors from a series 1 to a series 2. Im assuming its to run 18+ rims? These are available special order form karcraft in silverwater, and they aren't cheap. Oh and they're illegal to use on australian roads (but ok on pommy ones).
