Steel rims - round holes - urgently required...

Post by ash_on_mtb »

I've been doing the ring around to find some steel rims, round hole (not the sunraysia triangle) for 6 stud 80 series, in 15x8.

Does anyone know of any places that have such things anywhere in eastern Melbourne, or if they even exist?? Procomp, who I thought would be a shoe in with the pictures in their ad's, can't help me, and the 8 tyre joints I called today took a number and reckon'd they'd 'get back to me...' So thats a no from them I guess...

I need them in the next few days, 5 of them and in black. So if you've any ideas, or seen anything that would fit the bill, or better yet have some for sale, PM me asap! I'm looking like I'll have to go to the venerable old sunraysia for speed and budgetary restraints, so please let me know if you've any ideas...?!

Also, planning on going MTZ's and wondering how I'll go with 33x12.5 for scrubbing with a HD 2" lift, no body lift and the said 15x8's...? Its a 91' 80 series, one on the earlier ones.

thanks...

Speak to ryano... several people in vic have had tyres/wheels shipped down for cheaper than they could get in melb.

33's should fit fine... factory split rims are near on 33' anyway, and worst case scenario you can adjust bumpstops slightly.
Cheers,
Dan.
