Outer Limits 4x4 Board

ok ive done a search and havent found to much info on the sump change over when doing a 1.6 conversion. I was just wondering if most ppl just modify the oil pick up to fit the 1.3 sump or wat is need to use the vitara sump as in lift wise. any info be handy thanks

yeh u gota use the 1.3 sump and cut/shunt the 1.6 and 1.3 oil pickup.

u will also need to cut all or some of the baffels out of the sump.

Vit sump - about 3" lift with minimal compression i beleive

Mine are below.

1.3 sump and 1.6 + 1.3 oil pickup.

Yep I have done this too. Not that hard just a bit fiddly.

I take it that is a 16v due to the stud girdle

yeps. g16A mpfi 16v
sump was from a G13 BA 1298cc

depends how much lift u have aswell, if ur around the 5 to 6 inch mark u just use the vit sump.
