can any one tell me if you need to cut the guards on the front with 3' springs & 2" body lift?
Or can you just space the diff forward.
I am cutting off the rear quarters so that should fix the back.

i had 3" sus and 2" body with 15mm radius arm spacers on my gq wagon and when i put on my 36x12.5 peede's they hit the rear half of the front guards and the rear half of the rear guards on full flex so i just snipped a bit off and it was prefect.

There suspension must not have much articulation if there not scrubbing. I'm running superiors kit and my 32" factory tyres very lightly scrub under full articulation. Are you running the standard arm configuration?
If someone has less lift, it just means they have more droop than up travel....as the upward movement if not clearanced will be bump stopped.
And this setup will give More down travel than a higher lifted rig.
Each to their own though, it all comes down to personal preference and choice to shop or not.
As for scrubbing, whether its 2inch lift or 10inch lift, it can still scrub, your just changing the pivot point and therefore the point of contact.

I ran 36" x 12.5" TSL Swampers, on Landcruiser rims, on mine. I removed the factory flares & mudflaps, and put rubber flares on. I have a sagged 2" lift, with 1" coil spacers, and a 2" BL.
I trimmed the front guards in the area covered by the mudflap, so I can always return it to normal, and no one will notice.
I am now trying to run 37" tyres, and it is rubbing on the rear corner (front & rear) but you won't have that with 36's.
