Hi All
I want to upgrade the 40 series suspension (82 BJ42) i have searched forums but could not really find what i am looking for.
i have looked at a few kits online which include shockies, shackles, etc etc.
Any opionions on a good kit to kit? I found one on ebay for a "cross Country" kit but have never heard of that brand.
Looking to spend up to $1000. Hope you can help

i had crosscountry suspension before with 2" lift.. it was ok i spose.. nothing flash.. i think that brand has been renamed "bluemax" or something similar.
if you are buying an off the shelf kit i would probably recommend the OME dakar springs.. otherwise most other kits are much of a muchness..
IMO you'll have to go the custom route for any decent flex though ..

If the upgrade is for comfort mainly, I would look at spending money on your shocks
I have Ranchos but there are similar shocks that aren't as hard as normal shock but work just as well.
You don't want gas filled hard as buggery shocks. They make the ride rougher than anything else.
