just finished removing the engine from my 84' rangie,
contempleting a full resleeve, new bearings and pistons, anyone recommend someone for the resleeving, have heard to be carefull as if its not done properly the sleeves move about causing more problems???
I only know a couple of places that do it and the only one I would recommend is Les Richmond. Probably closest to you as well.
It is going to cost you plenty though. I was looking at getting my 4.6 done (just in case) and it is about $2k
Have them measured to check ovality, and that will decide for you.
If it is high mileage you will probably find worn ring lands anyway, so 20 thou overbore and new pistons would be the go.
