Lights affecting cooling.

Post by ZOOK92 »

Morning all,
I have 180 sized spots on the front of the car, and they are on there last legs. I just wanted to know, if I put on 220 sized lights, will it affect the cooling of the car. They are going on the standard mounting points on a '92 4Runner bullbar ,so just the same as a Hilux.
Thanks in advance.

I went from no spotlights, to LF 240s and have seen no difference in temperatures.

if the rest of the cooling system is up to scratch no difference.

if it's a lil suss or it's in extreme condition's... 40degree day + lots of stop start etc in traffic it may make a difference
