pto drive shaft splines as slip joint
has any one looked in to this for front shafts or rigs that arnt going to be going to fast?
was speeking to hardy spicer today, and the triangale style is only about $170 a mtr!!! that meens i can have both slips for uncer 200...
and make up some plates to make it work!
any ones opinions?

yeah ive been wondering this as ive heaps kicking around, i would have thought the 3 sided stuff would be ok on a zook or something without massive grunt, or theres 6 sided stuff we use on our power harrow which takes 130hp and it chews stones for a living, so id reckon it would be strong enough, i know the stresses are different like a spinning wheel which then hits the ground and grips rather than just running at 540rpm all day but still

i was just looking in to this stuff as less vibs.. but if it wont hold the strenght all good!

the rear uses around an inch the hole way through travel to full droop
link suspensions use hardly anything if setup well
