problem with 40 series suspension

Post by Wilko76 »

Hey

Hope you can set me straight. I bought a suspension package (bushes and shockies) for my BJ42 and got it shipped interstate to where the truck currently is.

My problem, my brother called and he said the shockies are way to short. they fit but are at full extension ie no more travel.

The shockies (EFS) were advertised to fit vehicles from 0-2" lift.

I dare say the vehicle must be raised more than 2" but doesn't look it.

Can anyone set me straight?

I have a BJ 42 on the hoist so tell me what you have and I will tell you what a 2" lift measurement should be

thx Turbo. Haven't got any pics. will try and get some measurements. My brother contacted the local suspension supplier and he can get a hold of some shocks that sould suit a 3" plus lift. he has ordered them.

Really strange though as i bought the vehicle off a work mate and the only thing he done was to fit 33's

I will let you know how i go!
