How do you remove these plugs?

Post by STUMPY »

Green plugs located around the inlet manifold on a 1.3l. Cant get them off to remove a wiring loom from a car.

Spray them with WD40 first
Being in the engine bay they fill with dirt and lock on

GOOD TIP TO SAVE YOU BROKEN PLUGS-
With most auto electrical plugs:
1. Disengage the locking mechanism
2. PUSH THE PLUG IN
3. Pull the plug out

PUSHING THE PLUG IN often disengages the lock properly
