33"Tyres What hieght?
What hieght are your 33" tyres? As in when mounted on a rim (prefer 15x8) at pressure what is the hieght. I run Swampers and they come in at around 825mm tall also have Goodyear mtrs they only come in at around 770mm. this is a big difference. i am looking for a 33" allterrain similar hieght to my swampers. Any help? Cheers Mick

For some reason unknown to me, most 33" tyres seem to be 32.5". Then wear them down a bit and they become 32" tyres.
I have BFG MT 33x10.5x15 tyres and they measure 32" now. They are worn a bit and I am supposing that they have worn say 7mm of tread, meaning they are now 14mm shorter than original.
I think the 16" metric sizes are more accurate. Say 285/75/16 is 33".

I'll believe that, as I have been told that the Simex are an oversized tyre like the Swampers. Having put my 33 12.5 swamper against my 33 12.5 MTR goodyear, the MTR is nearly 2" smaller in height. (This is both tyres off the car at same pressure also on same rims) hence why i'm chasing some 33" allterrains to match my swampers then I dont have to have 2 different spares. Have been told coopers are also tall anyone actually measured to see?
