My dad's got a new L200/Triton Sportero 2.5 Turbo with less than 10K Km on it that's developed an extremely annoying squeak that sounds like it's coming from somewhere in the back. Other Sportero drivers over here are reporting the same thing. Has anyone with the same vehicle type in Oz encountered this and is there an easy fix to it?
I drive a squeaky Hilux but it's older and rustier so just attribute the squeaks on that to rusty springs but this Sportero is almost brand new and squeaks more than my older Hilux.

L200/Triton Sportero annoying squeak

It's just the rear spring bracket/ hanger being slightly too tight. A couple of taps with a hammer to move it 1mm does the trick.
