Difference between Samurai and Sierra (imported Samurai)

Post by fervit »

I was looking at buying a Sierra, and when i spoke to the guy he said that it was not a Sierra, but a Samurai. Does anyone know what the differences are and whether parts between the two are going to be any different. The only thing i noticed was that it had auto locking front hubs which i wasn't so sure about.

Just as another question - what happens when you import a car. Can you still perform a Revs check on the car?

Sierra's are called Samurai's in U.S.A, Asia and New Zealand to name a few.
Yours is most likely an import.
REVS is no good unless the vehicle has been under finance in Australia.
PM me your chassis number and I'll run it in the WWPC. Should be able to tell which country it was delivered to when new.
