just bought new tyres

Post by andy1517 »

gday guys,

well my original plan didnt work out,

So i called a few favours, and ended up getting, 4x brandnew sunraysia rims, 15x7, and 4x new maxxis mudders, 30x9.5's.

Should be good, tread looked good.

Will receive them tomorrow, fitted and balanced, will put them on zook, and take for roadworthy, fingers crossed the inspector ONLY looks at the engine no. and vin no. (from what im told they only do this), and should be registered shortly, will post some pics of the tyres tomorrow.

Cant Wait... just been to mansfield in my company car, and am itching to take the zook up there, and also into some spots in Bunyip..

will be heading to bunnings for DIY wheels flares..

How have people actually joined them onto the zook? any info or pics from the inside of the arch would be great!!

Also in 2 weekends time i will be attempting to fit 2" body blocks, should be interesting and rather cost effective so im told..
any hints/tips..
Cheers,

sorry to bore you with a long thread with no pics, ( it Sh*%s me too!!)

Cheers
Andrew

Mate the little search button at the top of this page will be your friend in finding nearly everything you need to know for the zook. I used about 10-15 tech screws to fit my bunnings flares. some people pop rivet them on...have a look in my members thread for some pics....
