Wish I had coils wrote:little warm not much though, gets bit warmer when towing but nothing to write home about.
To hot to touch , Have you got gear box oil?
Mine use to get so hot. I was thinking of putting a cup warmer around to keep my travel mug warm on my way to work.
If I pushed the rubber down on the shaft it would be hot to touch.
Mine started to get hot after i put the body lift in and people said it was now due to the extra hot air flow over the top of the box instead of under.

anything you say can and WILL be held against you on outers.....
Yeah mine gets hot too, box in good nick and use good oil. Have done bodylift though. The side of the floor pan gets nice and hot too, but over here in the sth island of NZ, that's a good thing as it keeps my left leg real toasty.
