fuel pump seal kit

Post by Brendan-s »

Any idea where I can pick one of these up for a G13a. Got a rather substantial oil leak from one of the seals in the fuel pump and need to fix it next weekend!

Yeah, yeah, people had to do this shit before Outers, and just called places, I know. But it's Sunday evening, so does Repco do these or do I have to order one from Suzuki?

Hmmm. After a bit of research it might be that the fuel pump needs replacing. Is it worth putting a kit through it or just buy a new one. And does the new one come with a new seal where it connects to the block?

Sweet, I'll do that. I had someone suggest put a kit through it, which is why I had the idea in my head. Will call around today. Missed a brand new one on fleabay last week for $40.

Ouch. $130+ from Suzuki and Repco. Kicking myself for not buying that one on eBay for $40 last week. Is it worth putting a second hand one on from the wreckers?

Fark thats a big difference.

I ended up getting one from the wreckers for $30 posted to my work COD. Will see how it goes. Worse case is this one is crap too, and I'll call coventrys, and still be better off.

Thanks for the heaps up!
