60 Series SOA knuckle rotation

Post by Nev62 »

Anyone know how much it costs to do a 60 Series SOA knuckle rotation?
Going the SOA but not confident enough to hack into the front housing with a grinder or trust my welding for such a crtical componet.

Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set

How long is a piece of string? One shop might charge you a case on a quiet friday arvo whilst another will hit you up for $500+.

To minimise the cost, have the diff prepped and removed from the car, have the angle of rotation worked out so you can tell the shop "rotate it x degrees", offer to pay cash etc.

Have a read on here. There have been a few threads from memory that cover knuckle rotation. Presumably you welded the spring perches on so why not see if you can get them cut and tacked in the right position yourself, then I cant see a shop charging you more than $50 to weld it up solid.

Call James at work, it's part of a spring over and we do quite a few, he will be able to quote you.
