what about kings or fox...skip-unstuck wrote:It will be on a Gq extra cab, with airbag rear and 4"coil front, running 35/37"
Thought about the LTR but they are not long travel, Would have gone for them first otherwise
Cheers Troy
if your want to go fast then kings.... bypass or if its more rock crawling stuff go an airshock either by kings or fox or swayaway
go the fonz
Yes they do, but you need to get into "truck and bus" fitments and have them valved to suit.
You really do need do refine what your asking a bit. Koni's aren't really adjustable easily, then need to be adjusted off the car, and the adjustment only effects rebound (from memory)
Obviously, once you're into race stuff, there's lot s of options, but only you can decide if the cost is justified.
LTR's aren't adjustable either, per se, there is some ability via changing nitrogen pressure but that's about all.
You will also need to determine whether you are changing mounts, especially in relation to how much extra travel you are chasing. LTR's and konis, for axample, are available up to about 11" of shaft travel in "normal" fitments, and in all honesty, that's a lot. It will be hard to use more than that with stock coil buckets and a single conventional spring in the front. (that's without springs going loose etc)
Steve.
