LWB or SWB?

if its a LWB then its piss easy, just find a origional divorsed transfercase and bolt it in, then use the v6 commodore engine and box, bolt it all straight in with some new engine and gearbox mounts.
no adapter kit nessesary

if you are doing a SWB then you need an adapter kit from engine to Mq gearbox.

sweet thanks, oh its a LWB

only thing is mq transfer is small and doesnt crawl as well and isnt as tough as a cruiser transfer. so im thinking cruiser 5sp and transfer with the option of crawler gears later on. plus i have got a adapter for hilux to chev. what do ya think?

but im unsure if the cruiser box and transfer is driver side? any suggestions?

thanks

mate had one in a GQ shorty, he loved it. he had a 308 which blew up before the v6.. would be a good move.
