Water leak

Hi guys have had a off and on water leak from the seal of the water pump for a while has been all good untill this afternoon started the 4wd and the temp gauge shot straight up to nearly all the way so i shut it off and checked water no water!, had a look under the 4wd and the leak has gotton worse nearly running out how can i stop the leak??? or do i need a new water pump

Man, I think its obvious what you need to do, but Ill tell you anyway.

Try the cheap way if you like by first taking the waterpump off and re-applying a new seal on it.

Now what I would do is, put a new waterpump and seal on it.
Dont expect mere proof to sway my opinion.

time for a new water pump. The leak that you have got is from the tell tale hole it more or lesstells you when it is rooted, for a real dodgey you could silcon the hole up might get you a day or so but it's real dodgy
