hey guys im asking on behalf of a mate he has the 2002 2.8 turbo diesel hilux, with leafs spring on rear and inderpendant on the front,

what sort of dollor is he looking at to lift it?
as well as price on body lift blocks for it and or where he can get it done in melbourne

Don't know about price, but the front torsion bars can wound up to give a bit of height. Down travel in the suspension will be lost though. Ball Joint Spacers are available to get some down travel back.

Another front option at about $2500 I think is the bolt on 4 inch lift for the front.

As for he rear, extended shackles and or reset springs will work. Trouble with the Lux, when is there is no weight in the back, its hard to get the rear springs to flex, unless you go for real soft ones then load carrying capacity is lost. In my case, I got real hard springs and installed an air locker to compensate for wheel lift.
