I blinged my brake light...

Post by hudson44 »

Had some spare time yesterday so i thought i'd have a play with an idea i've been toying around with. Got the idea from an x-trail that had the same thing as a factory item and thought "i can do that".

What do you think?

It looks really good at night but works quite well during the day as well. I was going to do a ralliart one but that was a bit tricky. Might try it one day tho.

Its a black sticker with pajero cut out, it fits perfectly in their, you just take the light out, stick it on and bobs your uncle.

Up close day or night it looks cool, but from a distance you cannot recognise that it says Pajero, just looks like a normal light blur.

I printed it out on the puter then cut out the lettering to make a stencil. I then copied the stencil onto some contact( the stuff you cover books with) which has a reflective backing. Then cut it out to size and stuck on the brake light lens.

Yeah checked on ebay after South's post and you can buy them on US and UK ebay but nothing seemed to come up on the OZ one. Beauty of making your own is you can put anything on there. And its cheaper and more rewarding. Maybe theres an aussie market out there? Might look into it!
