hi have 75 sreies lsd centre ,dismantled it ,cleaned it & measured it as per manual info as follows.
LH side adjusting washer 2.35mm
thrust & clutch washers 1.95 mm limit is 1.74mm
backlash on side gear 0.65mm limit is 0.05-0.24mm
RH side adjusting washer 2.25mm
thrust & clutch washers 1.9mm
backlash on side gear 0.75mm
so in the manual it says replace adjusting washer if side gear backlash is out of tolerance which both clearly are it has 13 washers listed 2.20mm - 2.8mm in 0.05mm increments labelled A through to N
my question is do i order two washers at 2.8mm to make the backlash 0.2mm on both sides i came by this as follows
LH 2.8-2.35=0.45 therefore 0.65-0.45=0.2
RH 2.8-2.25=0.55 therefore 0.75-0.55=0.2
is this right or am i wrong
also spring measure 33.9mm free length specs limit 38.6 so would need to order new spring all else seems to be in good order all help is appreciated thanx andy.
