Petrol or diesel?
If Diesel, some were 1HZ, some were 1HDFTE.

Diesel. Factory turbo. So would be 1HD series engine. Trying to work out what years they changed to 1HD-FT or 1HD-FTE.

2001 is a 100 series, HDJ100, so locally it's the 1HD-FTE.

There was some markets who still got the old 1HD-T.

i have the 1hd-fte in the car and the old 1hd-t sitting on the floor, they are totally different.

FT and FTE *maybe*, but definately not T as mark said.
