Staun Superstrap

Post by chops_Drover »

Does anyone have any experience with the Staun Superstraps?
It is time to purchase some new recovery gear & thought the idea of getting away from shackles wouldn't be bad.
Has anyone used them?
Are they just a tow strap or can be used as a winch extension or snatch strap?
Where do you buy them? Found them online, but only for the larger sizes. It is to be used on a Sierra.

Any other options?

they work good, but you really have to see its worth the extra money for the sake of doing up some shackles.

I was thinking about the max trax it just $300 its a fair bit off coin a snach will cost about $60 for a good one.If you are on the beach all the time then it would be a good investment as a strap has a certain lifespan.

Yeh I got one of the tow2go snatchies from supercheap that was in that test as they are reasonably priced and it is still going strong about 2 years on. Just to note...it wasn't the supercheap own brand ones that beat the ARB.
