40 series springs

Post by cruiser60series »

The spring locating pin that goes through the spring cluster and into the plate where the U bolts are is broken on the front spring of my troopy

I doubt i will pass a roadworthy with it missing.

How could i fix it and is it serious? I'm sure the U bolts will hold everything together regardless of that little thing.
At first I thought it was a sea anemone, upon closer inspection I realised it was a funky ball of tits from outer space.

just get one from any spring place.. they are not expensive and easy to replace.. you risk the diff moving if you dont , ie hit something to push the diff back, once onto the back of the spring pack where its thinner (less leaves) the ubolts wouldn't do much..
