I paid about $1200 for efi. But that was about 7 or 8yrs ago. With $2000 govt grant it's probably around $3200 now :roll:

carb, just looking at other way to aford to run the old girl, but then again on the way back from brisbane i notice gas at 87.9 L make me think if it worth it

got four quotes 12 months ago that were all around the $3200 mark.
92 LWB Ford Maverick 4.2, Dual Fuel.

99 GU ST 4.2 Turbo Diesel, Non Intercooled, Tigerz11 w/synthetic, 35"' Bighorns, ARB Compressor, Snorkel.

keep on top of your air filter & spark plugs with regular replacement and if need be take it to a gas specailist to check your mixer and converter :lol:

I'm a fitter in Melb if your interested.
Have you got a long range fuel tank already fitted???
It would save a bit on the price if you do.
Its $3280 for LWB carbi
And $3394 for EFI

All GENUINE IMPCO equipment not the copy.
All installed by someone thats been doin gq's for near on 15 years.
