Hi all. While checking everything over again under the bonnet of my TD42 GQ1, i noticed a small diaphragm looking jigger mounted under the main airbox on the drivers side. Its a smallish cylinder, half black plastic and half clear plastic, with a pressure spring visible inside. The reason i noticed it was because i picked out the bit of brocken hose hanging off the back of it.
I had a scout around the engine bay, and also tracked the small vacuum line up to the A/C throttle advance diaphragm, where i also found a T-piece on the vacuum pump side, with one of the outlets just plugged with a bolt. I'm guessing that maybe this is what "should" be connected to the little cylinder under the air box.
Any help much appreciated!!!
Cheers - Coxy

What is this supposed to be connected to?? (TD42)
So there must be a vacuum sensor somewhere to trigger the warning light. Could any of you guys poke your head under the bonnet for me and check to see where the black hose off the back of the dirty filter diaphragm goes to??? I dont want to leave it open on the end like it is ATM so the dust and shit can get in there.
Cheers!!
