Radiator recore. etc in sydney ?

Post by pongo »

Looking to recore or get a larger rad for the old Mk TD, she loves to run warm esp when pushed hard.

I already have thermos, etc , But would like to increase the capacity/efficency of the cooling system

Cheers

I just had my radiator repaired and at the same time they took the end tanks off and physically cleaned each individual row. I was having no overheating issues and it was done as a precaution and to my suprise he said that around 75% of the rows had blockages and that the top tank had a large buildup of crap inside.

Best bit it cost $120 compared to $580 for a recore. :?

Why did you choose thermo fans? I've always been told that the engine fan wins hands down if fitted from factory.
