Will a gen 4 extra cab fit on a gen 3 chasis

You will not need to change any cab mounts, you will only need to ADD the 2 rear most cab mounts.

The new hilux Matt is building is a gen 3 extra cab on a gen 3 single cab chassi.

So your talking a 98+ Cab on a -97 Chassie? If so you do need to modify cab mounts not just move them. They are spaced appart differently. Its not a bolt on job but its possible.

The two fire wall mounts need to be moved out 20mm a side from memory, and the rear ones will need to be moved as well.
