Where to buy a fuel lock control from???????

Post by BIG GQ »

Can anyone tell me where to get a fuel lock control (for gas/petrol) from? Mine has died and I have bypassed it (cause I'm to tight to drive around using petrol when I could be using gas) but as a result have a heap of toggle switches sitting on top of dash and if I was to lend car to anyone else I'd need spend half an hour explaining how to drive it and publish a user manual for the hand full of toggle switches :o

Anyway I know I could go to a gas mechanic and get them to get me one but then they will put their 275% mark up on it and once again I'm tighter than a fishes arse :)

I might just get Moorooka Automotive to order me one in but I'm you guys know where I can get one direct please let me know

That is seriously tight arse. The toggle switches , wire to hook up and time to do it would have cost more then the unit!
Are you also happy that the gas is still vaporising into the motor if it cuts out but the ignition is on if you have bypassed the lock control?
The first explosion you get will definately cost more then the box.
They are between $30 and $45 dollars at the gas joint!

Sweet I thought they'd be around $100 or something stupid like that. Well I'll just go to a gas mechanic and grab one rather than worry about getting one myself.

Mattslux - mate the gas lock valve is still operational just via one of the toggle switches. Everything is operational just via switches now rather than the box itself as it happened late Friday night and nobody was/is open to even look into price of one
