Who should I buy a 50mm Body Lift from to suit GU Ute

Post by Diabolic »

I am in WA and looking for a 50mm Body Lift for my GU patrol tray back ute, I'm running 315/85-16's it has 3" spring lift but I get quite a bit of fouling on the guards/lower front 1/4's

Any ideas of websites that I can buy from would be great.

don't go body lift,(they suck imo)
get radius arm spacers to move your front forward, think about 15mm.
if thats not enough try some 1' coil spacers or lower your bump stops abit.
Superior engineering can supply all these parts(link in my sig).

x2, body lifts are crap on GUs and not needed, radius arm spacers are the way to go.I run 37inch bais claws on my coil cab with 25mm longer drop radius arms and no rubbing anywhere.body lift and suspension lift wont solve the problem anyway you have to move the tyre forward away from the guards
'05 GU Patrol coil cab ST
6" lift
Tough dogs
Snake Racing drop arms
3rds Rear Arms
Twin ARB air lockers
37" trepadors
ARB bullbar

body lifts crack cabs
and they are not needed to clear tyres. having the highest truck around was kool 3 years ago, now people do it the right way with bump stops arm spacers and a grinder  and you end up with a more stable longer lasting rig that doesnt stand out as much to the cops
