Before you/anyone gets up in arms, just hear me out. I;m not picking on you or anyone, I just want hte board to work better and all of us to get better value. This is a how long is a piece of string question.
I'm not sure how you think a board like this operates, but despite what it looks like, we don't all just sit here waiting for a question to be asked - you need to do the reading and reaseach BEFORE you ask the question. Normally, we'd say "search newbie" but in this case, there was a thread that would have been about 4th from the top when you posted this question so it didn't even require a search. - THIS one:

Someone like vicelore who posted above will help us to help him by saying - "I have done a search/read about this on this thread" he posts photos and asks questions that can be answered like " what I want to know is....."
Last time this problem came up, after the original poster getting all grumpy, various others having a go etc, the original question was actually asked properly by the 10th post - here's the example:
So: Do you want another set of factory seats, so you're justong looking for someone who might have some, do you want aftermarket seats, what do you want to do with the car, do you do long distances or just day trips, do you have a medical back problem or are 7 ft tall or 4 foot tall, do you have any mechanical skills to fit a seat youself, or are you looking for a bolt in, what's your budget, do you use the back seats so still need a tilt/slide seat to get into the back, are you heavy so a narrow sports seat isn't going to fit, what's wrong with the seats that are in it..... are they just torn or are you finding them uncomfortable for the driving you do....?
Pretty much any seat can be fitted to any vehicle if you have the time and skills. if you want our advice, you'll need to ask better questions.
Please take this the right way, this board is a great resource, please use it before asking questions that are impossible to answer.
Steve.

and here's what the poster actually wanted to ask, uncovered after all the "search newbie" comments:not important wrote: Im looking at buying a Sierra / Vitara. What is the general opinion?
What is the best option for a general work run about and a little bit of 4wding on the weekends?

Can you see the difference? - one question can be answered, the other is just way too big and vague.not important wrote:
The car is at first going to be a cheap "get me to work and back" car, which i will rebuild it's motor and give the suspension and everything a general freshen up to make it reliable as possible. In the future, i will look at going the whole hog with suspension, lights, bar work, big tyres, etc and getting into some 4WDing. I have a brand new XR6 Turbo in the Garage, so i have the speed toy, now i want a 'Bash throught the bush/sand/mud toy' that i can launch off a cliff, roll back on it's wheels and away we go for the next adventure
Still looking to find one, looking at a soft top but would go for a good hard top if the deal was good. Engine condition doesnt matter as i will rebuild it, but no rust would be nice. Looking to get one for under $2500 initial purchase price if i can...
