The smallest of the lot looks identical to one SuperCrap sell/sold. Even the bag and accessories are the same no Warn label of course.

Mine would overheat and trip out after three tyres from 18 to 30 PSI and take ages for the thermal overload to cut back in.

The discharge valve was a small ball preloaded by a spring steel strip - if you had it on its side the ball would come loose and it wouldn't compress.

The gasket that sealed the the head cover to the cylinder head plate extruded out when it got hot and of course no air....

Of course could be a higher quality units from the same manufacturer.

So you have been WARNed :D
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

I think the size would give you a heart attack - mate they're farkin huge. I think they're really designed for race trailers and service trucks etc.

No info on power consumption? I bet it pulls "some" amps :D

I believe the oasis air york/starter motor based pumps drew up to 200A to deliver about the same CFM.

I'd still go endless air - same output, much less bulk, much less drain on the electrical system. I fyou have to run a fast idle to provide enough charge to keep the bettery topped up to keep running the big compressor, I reckon go endless air and cut out the middle man.

Just me 2C. They're cool, but kinda pointless I think.

Steve.

PS just saw these top out at 100PSI. Fine for lockers (and that's all I have run my endless type setups at) but I believe an endless can go as high as 140psi - thats a lot more air in the same sized tank.
