Surf/4Runner parts.

Post by want33s »

Hey guys, A mate of mine has a import Surf and needs a few bits for a RWC.
He hit me up to source the parts and I'm having a hell of a time finding a replacement passengers side power window mechanism.
The poor bastard actually believed the wreckers when they told him Surf doors are longer than 4Runner or Hilux and nothing will fit.

Anyone know where to get a pass side power mechanism? Preferably in S.E QLD but I can organise a courier otherwise.
He also needs a pair of standard rear spring shackles.

With rear spring shackles, I would suggest this this the Gen 1 Surf????

It should be exaclty the same as xN6x 4runners.

maybe your mate misunderstood. what wreckers told him this?
the doors are the same length but the glass is longer. call a company in brisbane called powerwin automotive then sell reco mechs pretty cheap on exchange. And any suspension joint will be able to get the shackles.

I don't know which wreckers told him.
Powerwin automotive... Cheers. Got a number for them. Nothing in Yellow.
I know I can get new shackles but I thought there'd be a few 2nd handies floating around here with almost everyone going extended.
