are 2"mk springs longer than stock?

hey guys,

just wondering if i bought a 2" lift for my shorty mk would the 2" springs be longer than the stock ones?

nope, they will be longer, but the distance between the mounts will be the same. they will have more of an arc on them to make them stand 2" taller
