Does anyone know where I can get some new body mount insulators for my 95 dual cab hilux. The ones between the lift block and mounting bracket have deteriorated.
I replaced 6 of my body mounts, both top and bottom rubbers (12 bits to buy all up), on a 92 dual cab not long ago. I think it was about $220 all up from Toyota.
Only way i'll do one is to step up to a 7/16 or 12mm grade 8 bolt you need to drill the factory crush tube in the rubbers and stock washers also for the top washers try get some slightly larger than stock washers and thicker i'll post pic's toomorrow of what lose body bolts do over time.
The d**k who did the lift before i bought the truck did an incredibly dodgy job . I don't know what he used for blocks and the washers he used in the cab were about 2mm jobs. The front right bolt under the cab had pulled through the floor, hence the reason for new blocks!
