A rear locker may try to push you straight ahead, so be aware of steering issues.
Front locker can make it dig in a bit causing bogging issues when turning.
My preference is to leave it all locked, especially as I have no choice (rear weld front lockright) and have not had any real problems with it.

No problems, LWB helps, and off road tyres that have little grip on road anyway.Big D wrote:how is the rear welded on the road? i know it 'skips' sorta wen turning but wen i pull something heavy, u rekon it would just grip and i wouldnt be able to turn? lol
With its probs, I wouldn't change it for anything.

after having a welded rear, it was fantastic - however if you're welding it make sure you're a dam good welder and prepare the metal correctly - mine was incorrectly welded the first time and busted... i didnt do the weld but i was assured when it was re-welded that it was all clean inside - however after just forking out bulk $$$ for a diff rebuild due to metal filings killing all my seals and bearings im not so sure a welded diff is the best option... hence why i've now got an airlocker fitted (that and its gotta go over the pits, and a welded diff is illegal).
