ROOF RACKS FOR 2002 PRADO: What have others fitted?

Post by Mauler »

Hello, I am looking to put a set of roof racks on my 90 series Prado. They will be used to mount flashing beacons for a 4wd venture, and then to carry a tray with spare tyre and tarps. What have other people used and what is recommended? At fhe moment I am looking at Rola racks with a Rhino basket.

Any words of wisdom gratefully accepted!!

Thanks

Rhino tend to be the best quality bars around. People aregue about bars vs racks all the time.

I run Heavy Duty Rhino Aero Bars, a basket on one side and pod on the other. That's on a 100 series.

email me if you want pics.

thanks, I went down to the local TJM and had a look at a set, got quite a competitive quote as well ($300). The Rhino ones look great and come with a heap of accessories so that is what we will be putting on once the minister for finance approves...
