Hi guys just wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for gq 89 td42 my stereo wont hold staions in its memory i have pulled the head unit out and checked and everything seems to be connected fine. before i go cutting at wires just wanted to see if anyone had a dash wiring diagram i could look at?
The memory wire for the stereo is connected but i wonder if its connected to the correct wire as i did not do the job in the first place who ever did it has obviously done it wrong and i would like to know what color is what behind my dash so i can do it right.
GQ TD42 Family truck 2 inch lift,uhf,dvd,gps,arb front bar,ipf lights,little 31/10.5 rear factory locker.
Big plans later though!

Normally the memory wire is independent of the accessory switch so that it can draw current whether the ignition is on or not. A good point would be to check if a solder or join has come lose.

A good source of power would be tapping into the power side of the clock which runs all the time

i thought of that only problem is everything in my whole dash works apart from the bloody clock

a test light is your friend!
turn ignition off then test which one still has power if none do just run a new wire to the battery through the fire wall where all the other wires for the car come through!
Easy fixed :)
