86 hilux brakes upgrade?????

dose anyone know what brakes are better then the stock ones on a 86 twin cab, like any after market or swap from a 80 series or something. i think i need to upgrade the frount roters (back are drums) as it seems to be getting bigger and ddosent stop so quick anymore.

depending on wether ur lux runs the same front disc setup as the later 89 on luxs u can fit larger V6 4runner calipers and slotted discs. The rear drums are pretty much as good as ther gona get unless u wanna get a disc swap kit from the states and hav that fitted. Cheers

Also check your master cylinder is up to it, might need to upgrade that as well.

95 series prado master cylinder shud bolt straight on as it does to the 4runners, this can be used if u go disc rear as it has a disc/disc propertion valve or u can just go to a bigger disc/drum master cylinder.
